Chopped meat - greek

Pimp your mincemeat - make it greek.

At the weekend we were invited to a party where everyone should bring something to drink or food with. I thought of a mixed salad and meatballs ... When the ingredients for the salad lay in front of me, I thought why not put some of it into the chopped, that saves a Tupperbox, which I therefore do not have to lug.

I had a hack for a kilo:


1 medium-sized pepper
12 olives (had green from the glass)
2 medium onions
1-2 cloves of garlic
1 egg and some bread crumbs or soaked bread / toast

Half a shepherd's cheese / white cheese so I had the no-name does not have so much taste, but for this thing he is good.

Pepper, paprika, I had some marjoram with it. But you can spice up the hack like you always do.

Cut the peppers, olives, onion, cheese and garlic into very fine cubes (although I had cut the olives into thin slices, that went well too) and mix well with the spices, egg and breadcrumbs.

Now all you have to do is make chopped meat and fry in a pan with oil or cream.

The cheese melts something but there was no catastrophe. These dumplings were great, and tasted delicious with a home-made zaziki.
