Cinnamon balls (Cinnamon stars for Lazy)

Take for about 50 pieces:

3 egg whites
250g powdered sugar
1 p. Vanilla sugar
1 teaspoon cinnamon
300g ground hazelnuts
about 40 whole hazelnuts

Beat the egg whites until stiff and let the powder and vanilla sugar trickle in with constant stirring. Remove about 1/2 cup from this mass and set aside. Stir under the rest the cinnamon and the ground nuts.

From this mass approximately walnussgroße balls form (a little sticky matter) and put on a baking sheet with baking paper. Add some of the egg mixture to the top of the balls and press in a hazelnut.

At 125 ° C approx. 25 - 30 min. to bake.
