Clever use of coffee grounds

Coffee grounds should not be disposed of as easily, because it can still be used cleverly.

I came across it through a friend, he said lately, even when I wanted to dispose of the old filter from the pot, do not throw away, I'll take me home. I stared at him in amazement and asked what he was up to and then he said he would use it to remove scratches on his wooden cabinet.

That was new to me and then he told me that if you have scratches on dark wood, you have to polish with the wet coffee grounds with your hands over it, the coffee oil would then close the joints. That intrigued me and then I made myself something smart, which can still do anything with coffee grounds and was successful. I already know one method, because I often use it when making handicrafts, either with black tea bags or coffee grounds, and white leaves can be dyed well with them, so the antique look is created, you only have to rub the sentence on the page and when it is dry, wipe it with your hands. But I did not know many things yet and from now on I always think about whether he can get away or whether I might still need the coffee grounds.

Continue to use coffee grounds:

  • As already mentioned, great for repairing scratches on dark wood.
  • Coloring paper or even Easter eggs.
  • 1-2 tbsp of it every few weeks in the potting soil as fertilizer in the garden.
  • Many use the coffee grounds as a rinse for the hair, rub in and wash out after 15 minutes, supposedly for more volume.
  • As a grill cleaner was new to me and tried it right on our table grill, the sentence can be triturated well with a sponge and replaced with a scouring cream.
  • Some people spread the damp coffee grounds in the fireplace so that the ash is tied up and does not stir up so much dust.
  • Of course, as already known, also great in the fridge to neutralize odors.
  • Coffee grounds neutralizes odor on the hands after cutting onions, vegetables and co. With it to rub in and wash off.
  • Voles let you drive away with it, collect more sentence and pour into a burrow.
  • Spread coffee grounds on the compost, it attracts earthworms, which are good for loosening up the soil.
  • For dirty vases, it is used mixed with water for a while in it.
  • As a scrub in the shower I've already tried it, was really great!
  • If you spread a barrier of more coffee grounds around the plants in the garden, this scares off the snails, even diluted in a spray bottle for spraying plants he should help against snails.

Surely there is much more that can be done with coffee grounds so maybe you know what else?
