Cover hole in jeans with embroidery
Unfortunately, it had taken a long time to avenge that I often put my key in the front pocket of the trouser. But because the hole was not so big and the jeans - as usual - sewn with curry-colored decorative yarn, I have just taken this thread to sew at will and on the torn spot.
The result is a little eye-catcher and does not let anyone suspect that a hole is hidden below.
Another tip: this significantly thicker decorative cotton yarn is available in well-stocked specialist retailers or in a sewing machine shop to buy, even in several, the current textile fashion adapted colors. That saved me when I had to cut a light green denim skirt last summer - you did not see the difference to the original seam.
If you can not buy such yarn, then you can also imitate the thick thread described above: Try it out by sewing a triple stitch with your normal sewing thread (but in the color you want) or two times in a row and then over each other on the top same spot a normal seam is stepping! Thus, the finished seam is also much thicker and looks from the distance like the stitched in the retailer decorative stitching!
