Prevent fraying of decorative ribbons
Since I like to make something myself and often decorate with deco ribbons, I noticed that the ribbons fray very quickly. However, I'm usually too lazy rauszuholen my sewing machine and sew in the edge.
My advice:
Light a candle, preferably white or in the color of the ribbon, wait about 5 minutes until some wax has accumulated in the candle. Then make out the candle and as long as the wax is still liquid hold the ends of the bands briefly, thereby forming a border -> Image.
Allow to cool for 10 seconds and ready. Conclusion: fast and easy! Best regards!
