Hand puppet made of socks
Who does not know that, again just a sock, where the other one is, nobody knows. Maybe she has the washer or dryer she ate?
I make socks a funny hand puppet, nice for children.
Material:
- sock
- scissors
- Wool
- Buttons (or plastic eyes ... are available in craft shops, for teddies)
- felt
- needle and thread
This is how it's done:
- You slip the sock over your hand so that the heel is in the thumb. On top of it, sew on wool as hair, sew buttons as eyes on it, or plastic eyes, felt as tongue.
- You can also attach a beard at the front. Or stitching nostrils on it. The possibilities are unlimited. Looks funny and fun.
A small theater for the hand puppets:
I stretch a string between a door frame, a light blanket over the string or a bath towel, and then the children's theater can start.
