Cut the space to the fabric when sewing

I like to sew, but unfortunately I do not have my own sewing room, but rather, so to speak, on the living room table. This also works generally well, only when cutting, especially for larger parts such. Trouser legs, I do not get along with the table of the size and the square.

The solution is to cut the fabric on the floor. So that the floor does not suffer and gets scratches, I got myself a rest in the hardware store a very favorable PVC coating. If necessary, I put it on the floor and have enough space to cut it. After use, everything is simply rolled up and can be stored to save space.

Although we do not walk around with street shoes inside, I find it somehow more pleasant than putting the fabric directly on the floor.
