Dry cashmere and wool sweater to save space

For over 40 years, I have been drying my hand-washed, high-quality cashmere and wool sweaters to save space on a broomstick and it has always proven itself!

Depending on the size of the sweater, a normal broomstick is sufficient, but in the case of men's sweaters it pays to buy a wooden handle for gardening tools - they are simply longer. You can save them behind the space saving storage upright somewhere behind the closet.

After lukewarm hand wash (if possible with Woolite, and not with hair shampoo) be sure to throw the well-washed sweaters in the washing machine, and then push on the pole. Gather too long sleeves in the area of the lower sleeves so that it fits the length. The wrinkles in the upper area can be smooth afterwards smoothly smooth. If necessary, you have to help with the steam iron carefully.

Then pull the seams slightly straight at the sweater with both hands and let it go as smooth and straight as possible and let it dry. The fastest way to do this overnight is to hang the stalk between 2 possible shelves.

There are other ways in each apartment to place the bars also on the corner, who has pets or small children, hanging the sweater high between 2 closet doors. Or between 2 chair backs.

This type of drying stabilizes the seams and keeps them in shape. The sweater does not hang.

Some sweaters are so dry when dry that you do not even have to iron them.

I always wash 3-4 sweaters at once, so that the effort is worth it!
