Eischwerteig

Once I had no baking soda in the house and it was Sunday and I needed a cake for Monday, I searched a bit on the Internet and I came across the Eischwerteig:

We simply weigh four eggs (with peel) and mix them (now without peel) with the same amount of flour, sugar and butter. So all the ingredients in equal proportions (although I personally take less sugar, since I always find it quite a lot).


Then spread on a baking sheet and spice it up as you like. I like to do it on Christmas with pieces of apple and cinnamon and sugar on top. Tastes but certainly with other fruit or with chocolate.

I think it's a fast, super easy and creatively adaptable main dough.

Unfortunately, I am not as good at baking as I would like to be and often it does not go the way I want, but so far this cake has been successful for me every time!
