Extra kick for cherry jam

Only pure cherry jam tastes boring with time. My tip, if you make your own cherry jam, place 1/2 vanilla pod in cherries overnight on 2 kg of cherries.


  1. Add 2 kg of cherries with 1 kg of jam sugar 2: 1 and 1/2 vanilla pods to a saucepan, stir and let stand overnight.
  2. The next day cook the jam as usual (with the vanilla pod). When the jam is ready, take out the vanilla pod, mash the marmalade with the hand blender.
  3. Hot stuff into glasses, make and turn upside down to get it right.
