First cook goose legs in apple juice

I cook goose legs before baking in apple juice with salt and pepper. Duration approx. 45 minutes until the clubs are done. (Recognize that the meat is pulling away from the bone ends). Then I marinate the clubs with a 1: 1 mixture of honey and mustard and bake them for about 15 - 20 minutes at 160 ° C.

From the apple juice I make delicious sauce, to which one can later also give the gravy from the baking. Also delicious is a dash of calvados and peeled apple slices in the sauce. All classic side dishes to goose, I make dumplings filled with drink. Peaches / plums, red cabbage and baked apple. Although not low in calories but saulecker !! (It's more like a feast).
