Fish bread without egg
I've recently rummaged with FM, if there is a recipe to bread fish without egg, which satisfies me: no egg and no deductions in the taste. Since I am one of the lucky enough to stay away from the chicken eggs, (Easter is a joy :-P), I have to experiment in the kitchen many times anyway. So I mixed several recipes and it was by chance something out of it. That's why the quantities are not sooo accurate!
I took:
Cornstarch and cornmeal (the fine, as the coarse I think too much with oil in the pan) in equal parts, for 4 fish fillets heaped a flat plate.
Spice up the breading right away, so with salt, paprika ... everyone likes it.
Have (very important) thawed the fillets, which caused the breading to last. As an egg substitute, so to speak.
Then fry as usual with oil in the pan.
Unfortunately, I have no picture of the Panadenmischung, did not expect that it will!
I think it's a good alternative to "not-breaded fish" I liked it very much and it was mega crispy!
