Fix the decoration to the front door

Now that the fall season has dawned again, the Christmas season is already in sight, and once again the decoration addiction has broken out, this year I finally found a solution for fixing decorative items to the front door without the rubber suction hooks that have been used so far fall off or I have to hammer in nails / hooks.

On top of the apartment door = at the very upper narrow edge, which protrudes into the interior of the apartment, in each case to the right and left of the middle, two types of paper nails / posternails are hammered. Unfortunately, I no longer have the packaging, so I miss the correct name, but they look like thumbtacks with thick (white here!) Head and significantly stronger nail for hammering (please look at the Bauhaus!). Between these nails, I have several times fishing tackle and knotted. As you know, it is very tear-resistant and can not slip upwards due to the curvature of the nails.

Underneath this fishing line, you can now tie ribbons ... for hanging up decorative items and attach the decoration at any height - perhaps tie a loop - DONE!

The great thing about this solution is that you can also proceed in the same direction home interior and also attach something here! I notice now: Maybe for 2 bands (inside + outside) choose the distance of the nails a bit wider ...

The ribbon used by me does not wear - the front door can be as easily close as before!

Have fun imitating!
