garlic potatoes

After I went to the Greek with my friend and had eaten garlic potatoes there, I desperately searched for a similar recipe, but I did not find it.

I just tried it myself and here it is:

ingredients

  • 400 g of potatoes
  • 1 tuber garlic
  • olive oil
  • thyme
  • salt
  • pepper
  • oregano
  • garlic powder

preparation

  1. Boil potatoes, let cool in slices.
  2. When done, make some olive oil on a baking sheet and peel the garlic.
  3. If you have a garlic press, you can squeeze the garlic into it and put it on the plate, if you do not have one you can also chop the garlic (but only half a tuber).
  4. Then add the potato slices and the remaining garlic (crushed) and the spices.
  5. Now just add a little oil, mix everything and put it in the oven until the desired crispness is achieved.

Perfect with gyros and tzatziki.
