Gingerbread Parfait

Gingerbread parfait for about 4 people

ingredients

  • 3 eggs
  • 30 g of sugar
  • 100 g dark chocolate couverture
  • 250 ml of cream
  • 2 gingerbreads (about 50 g) with chocolate icing
  • 1 pinch of gingerbread spice

preparation

  1. Separate the eggs.
  2. Chop the couverture and melt in a water bath, stir in the egg yolks quickly and then remove from the heat.
  3. Cut the gingerbread into small cubes and stir with the gingerbread spice under the chocolate yolk mass.
  4. Beat the egg whites with a pinch of salt until stiff and fold gently.
  5. The cream also beat stiff and also fold.
  6. Spread a casserole or parfait dish with plastic wrap and fill in the mixture.
  7. It is best to freeze overnight in the freezer and then decorate with slices of cream, eggnog or even fruit sauces.

We did not try it with fruit sauce, but with cream and some eggnog.

It was delicious. Try it, because the preparation is easy and fast.
