Gladioli bloom better
Gladioli usually never bloom properly with their inflorescences. The lower inflorescences are often already withered and the upper buds just do not want to open. In the vase, this works even worse.
What can be done to make gladioli bloom better?
I only cut the gladioli when they show a large part of the buds, as the petals can look in the color. Then the upper 3-4 still completely closed buds are cut away. I noticed that then the buds are safer.
