How to make homemade "Frozen Yogurt"

In the spring many ice cream parlors wake up from their hibernation. Very delicious is the variety "Frozen Yogurt", which tastes nice sour-fresh. Here is a tip like homemade "Frozen Yogurt", ie frozen yoghurt succeeds.

I experimented a bit with the preparation at home. Here's my tip on how to succeed and not freeze to a rock hard solid mass:

You have to drain the yogurt before in a punch, which is designed with a gauze (fresh diaper) or one of these cheap blue-white very thin wipes. Best in the fridge overnight. Then the liquid separates from the pure yogurt. Only the creamy mass remains.

From this you can now well produce the frozen yogurt - best of course in the ice machine - you have no, it works well in a bowl in the freezer. Only then you have to stir the masses often, so that everything stays creamy.

Here is a recipe for frozen yogurt that tastes really good:

500 g drained yogurt
1/2 cup of fruit syrup, ready bought - e.g. Raspberry or strawberry
1 cup of finely chopped dried fruit, e.g. apricots
1/2 cup powdered sugar

This is mixed and either cooked in the ice machine or frozen in the freezer for about two hours.

Another tip for the drained yoghurt: you can dip a guest towel in the liquid and treat his face and body a quarter of an hour of relaxation. It looks like a mask - then you look fresh and relaxed!
