Impregnate car windows with Rain-X and have a clear view
I've been riding the windows since 1996 with Rain-X (available at ATU).
Rain-X is a means that you can polish on the windows of your vehicle, and the rain just pours off. Since I do it regularly every 3 months, I almost do not need windshield wipers anymore. The rain or the water bubbles at 40 km from the windscreen and you always have a clear view. On the highway you need hardly even the windshield wipers, even in heavy rain, because the water always flows upwards.
Simply clean the glass with water, wipe off briefly. Apply Rain-X over a large area, smear in a circular motion on the glass and after about 4-5 min. Wait to polish the whole thing. Then polish to a high gloss with a little splash of water. Finished.
This also has the side effect that small scratches or stone chips in the windscreen can be quite filled and are almost no longer visible with regular use.
