juicy coconut macaroons

In the Advent season is always baked a lot. My absolute favorites are coconut macaroons! Very simple recipe & taste heavenly.

Ingredients for about 30 pieces

  • 4 egg whites
  • 350 g of sugar
  • 2 sachets of vanilla sugar
  • 400 g of coconut flakes
  • Backoblaten

preparation

  1. Beat the egg whites & slowly pour in the sugar. Continue mixing for about 1 minute at the highest level. Add grated coconut and vanilla sugar and stir briefly.
  2. Now with the hands small hats (about EL large) put on the baking wafers.
  3. Approximately Bake for 12 minutes at 170 degrees. When they come out of the oven they are still a bit soft. You can still coat them with couverture.
