Lightning-fast coffee biscuits: biscuits with coconut, anise or cinnamon

Since early childhood, I like very much zwieback with a topping of coconut flakes, anise or cinnamon.

Since rusks are basically very cheap, but these special varieties of the market leading rusk manufacturer are overpriced for my feelings, I have myself made my sweet rusks.


  • 1 can Milk girl (Milk girl is strong sweetened thick condensed milk in the can, available in every major supermarket)
  • anise
  • cinnamon
  • desiccated coconut
  • sugar
  • zwieback


In various bowls, a little milk girl with a sugar-cinnamon mixture, anise mixture and / or the coconut mixture is well mixed and spread on the biscuit discs laid out on a baking sheet.

Put the tin with the rusks in the preheated oven and bake at 220 degrees for about 4 minutes. The sugar should not dissolve completely.

After cooling, enjoy a cup of coffee or tea.

Well dried, the pastry keeps some time in hermetically sealed containers.
