Low-calorie vegetable roulades with pork or turkey meat

First said: I have no quantities, because the dish with individual ingredients and quantities to fit any taste and nothing can go wrong!

You take:

A big pot with a lid. Pork or turkey rolls, cut by the butcher, freshly ground pepper, salt.


Blanched cabbage leaves, Chinese cabbage, or white cabbage or ... whatever you want.

Some cream cheese z. Philadelphia or Exquisa or ...

Fresh tomatoes or canned tomatoes and / or other vegetables, e.g. Pumpkin strips (Hokaido), sliced ​​zucchini, peppers in fine stripes, carrot sticks or slices ...


Dried Italian herbs, ground cumin, fresh or dried chopped chilli as desired or omitted.

1 cup of vegetables or broth (finished product mixed)

Remove the savoy leaves from the head, remove the hard leaf ribs or cut them flat and boil for 3-5 minutes in well-salted boiling water, to which a pinch of soda powder has been added.


Quench in very cold water to get the nice green color. Then drain well.

On a large plate, lay out several leaves of the already blanched Wirsings like a roof tile and spread with some cream cheese.

Spread the meat on the savoy cabbage, salt, pepper and sprinkle with hot, chopped chillies if desired. If you like, you can add other vegetables (see suggestions or take what is there ...) on the meat.

Now just wrap it all up and it will be big and thick. The roll must now be placed in the pot accident-free - it must NOT be hammered or tied at the edge ...

The roles (in my case it's 2 pieces) so in the saucepan, I take a Jenaerglasform, and still put vegetables underneath and in between. Then the shape is full with me. The tomatoes in addition, I used today from the can, which are unbeatable in the aroma. Add the tomato juice and 1 cup of vegetable broth (or broth), sprinkle with herbs and cumin and cook!

After half an hour I had to go to work and have my glass form wrapped in a large bath towel and shipped to my bed. After my return after 5 hours everything was still blazing! and tasted really delicious. Several roulades can also be cooked in a large baking dish in the oven.

This fits rice and in the evening like a glass of white wine.
