Make apple printing yourself ~ DIY
Everyone knows about potato printing from school. I tried the whole thing with apples and made great wrapping paper.
There are now trendy breakfast boards, aprons, kids sweaters and much more with apples on it. So the idea with apple printing came to make my own wrapping paper. Divide the apple in half. Make sure that the style stays on one half. Prepare acrylic paints and apply paint on an apple half with a roller or brush.
I spread the paint on a small plate, dipped the half of the apple in the color with the style and then smoothed out the paint with a brush. Press the half with the color side onto a large paper sheet (A3). While doing so, press the style with your finger on the paper, otherwise the stem will not be visible in the print. First print in one color and print only two or four times an apple half in a different color. Done is a very personal and unique wrapping paper. But even a canvas looks great printed with apples.
This is needed:
- 2 apples in style
- Acrylics
- A3 white paper or wrapping paper or a canvas
