For those who like to make yoghurt themselves or those who would like to taste it, here is a delicious recipe. Elderflower yoghurt is also available in summer.

It tastes fruity delicious and you can eat it very well unsweetened.

preparation

  1. For this yoghurt, boil a liter of milk with a few clean elderflower blossoms, leave the milk on the plate and turn it off so that the milk can flower through with the flowers for a while. When the milk has cooled down slightly, pour it through a hair sieve into a porcelain bowl.
  2. When the milk is about 40 ° C, add a small cup of natural yoghurt, stir well, and leave the bowl of yoghurt milk, covered with a plate, in a warm room for 12 hours, preferably near a heat source.
  3. Once the yoghurt has set, it is put in the refrigerator.

Tips

  • Who would like to take small yoghurt glasses for the preparation, of course, can do that. Even the preparation in a clean washed out glass is possible.
  • In order to be able to produce this delicious yoghurt for us all year long, I have picked some elderflower and then dried loosely on a metal plate.
  • If you like, you can also work with other flowers and herbs that are suitable for flavoring. Depending on the taste and use, spices are also suitable here.
