You do not have to dispose of light bulbs, because you can easily make yourself a great flower vase / hanging vase from it yourself.
I discovered on a website, copied, and am now a proud owner of a very original vase. Here I would like to pass on to you the tip, whoever she finds so great, who can imitate them very quickly.
To do this, you take an old light bulb, as a precaution, put on a pair of glasses for protection, I did it without, everyone has to decide for themselves.
Next you get a pair of tweezers and pliers. With the pliers you carefully pull out the silver lower foot contact, after a few tries he goes out, then splits even the black socket contact out. If not, just break something with the pliers. Now you turn with a screwdriver slightly inward into the opening until the first glass build breaks inside and you can easily get the inside out with a pair of tweezers. Most of the time it comes down to shaking it out for yourself.
So now your lightbulb is empty and is being washed a bit. On both sides, as can be seen on a picture, with the help of a small nail on the left and right of the threaded socket 2, small openings are made so that one can push through a decorative thread that serves to hang.
Either you pour water into the bulb and push some garden flowers into it, or it is poured into a funnel some soil pure and seeds. Cress. looks good too. Also, several light bulbs side by side in different lengths would look good.
