Make frozen yogurt without ice cream maker

Even without an ice cream machine you can make a super delicious frozen yogurt.
ingredients
- 1000 ml of yoghurt (I like Greek, as it is very creamy, but it is also any other natural yoghurt with about 4% fat)
- 125 g of sugar
- 1 pck of vanilla sugar or half a vanilla pod
- 1 small splash of lemon juice
- 200 g whipped cream (not too firm)
preparation
- The yoghurt is whisked together with the sugar and the vanilla sugar in a bowl well with the hand mixer on a small scale, until the sugar has dissolved, then the lemon juice is added.
- Beat the cream and mix into the yoghurt mixture.
- Put everything in a large freezer and freeze. Mix well once every 20-25 minutes otherwise ice crystals will form. This is done until the frozen yoghurt has the desired consistency, usually 2-3 hours.
This is a bit more strenuous with the Umrührerei, but if you do not own a machine, you do not have to do without delicious Frozen Yogurt. Of course you can just leave the cream out, but then it will not be so creamy.
