We have the tradition of the "Living Advent Calendar". Every evening in Advent, a private household or an institution invites you to a cozy Advent meeting. Beautiful lyrics are sung, sang Advent songs and offered something delicious to eat.
Two years ago, at such a meeting, I had these biscuits that I would like to introduce to you today. I was so excited that I asked the hostess for the recipe, and she immediately sent it to my cell phone.
ingredients
For about 60 biscuits:
- 200 g marzipan raw material
- 8 tablespoons Amaretto (if children eat: apple juice or another juice)
- 250 g soft butter
- 80 g of sugar
- 2 eggs
- 460 g of flour
- 1/2 pck of baking powder
- 50 g of sliced almonds
- 200 g of dark couverture (I have taken 100 g of milk chocolate and dark chocolate)
preparation
- The marzipan is pulled into pieces and stirred smoothly together with the amaretto or juice.
- The butter is added in small pieces and stirred in with the sugar.
- Then stir in the eggs one by one. Mix flour and baking powder and mix well.
- Form small balls of approx. 15 g from the dough and place on the baking sheet lined with baking paper. Lightly press the balls and distribute some planed almonds on each.
- Bake at 160 ° for 10 to 15 minutes (convection).
- Coat the cooled biscuits with the melted chocolate.
I hope you find this recipe delicious!
