Oatmeal and apple cookies

Oatmeal apple cookies with wholegrain. Something healthy for snacking!

Ingredients: (for about 40 pieces)

  • 120 g soft butter
  • 200 g brown sugar
  • 30 g applesauce
  • 2 tablespoons apple juice
  • 1 teaspoon soda
  • 50 ml of hot water
  • 130 g of pungent oatmeal
  • 280 g spelled wholemeal flour
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • 80 g chocolate sprouts (bittersweet)

Preparation:

  1. Preheat oven to 200 ° C (circulating air: 180 ° C).
  2. Beat butter, sugar, applesauce and apple juice in a bowl until frothy.
  3. Add the soda to a cup, pour in 50 ml of boiling water and stir into the apple sauce.
  4. Add oatmeal, flour, salt and finally the chocolate drops and stir.
  5. From the dough with two teaspoons, put small piles at a sufficient distance on baking sheets lined with baking paper.

Baking time: Bake for about 10 minutes until golden brown.

Tip: Raisins, chopped nuts or almonds can be used instead of chocolate drops.
