Melt the chocolate in the kettle
I have always pressed myself to coat something with chocolate, because the melting of the couverture in a water bath does not work properly.
Today I tried something new and it works great.
First, you can boil water in the kettle. (What a sentence!)
Put shredded couverture into an empty, clean screw-cap and close the glass slightly.
Then put the glass in the kettle and wait until the chocolate is liquid. This can of course take a bit depending on the amount of couverture.
I usually put the chocolate in a freezer bag, cut off a small corner and decorate it happily.
