Mince ginger with the garlic press

Often I like to use fresh ginger but you do not really get it chopped "fine" ... so lately I came up with the brilliant idea to try it with the garlic press.

Since the ginger roots are quite large, I cut off a slice, peel it and divide it into quarters. These can then, with some effort, pressed into the desired food ... The "fiber" can be well with your finger out of the press and then with an old toothbrush under running water to clean the holes again ...
