There is a suspicion that wheat is not tolerated? That means a few weeks on bread, noodles & Co to do without. Maybe forever. But - so without bread - here I offer an alternative.

An oatmeal and quark bread, which certainly goes as bread, even if the fluffiness of a white roll is missing.

ingredients

  • 500 g of lean quark
  • 14 tablespoons oat flakes ground, shredded or flower tender
  • 2 tablespoons psyllium husks - works without it
  • 1 baking powder
  • 1 tsp salt
  • Bread spice (cumin, coriander, cardamom, anise, fennel - what you like)
  • 2-3 tablespoons seeds (sunflowers, flax seeds, psyllium seeds, pumpkin seeds - which is there)
  • 6 eggs
  • a shot of oil
  • about 200 ml of milk

preparation

  1. Mix everything together, in a greased form (I take 2 small springforms for the amount)
  2. Bake at 200 ° top / bottom heat for about 1 hour.
  3. Of course you can vary. Sesame on top, poppy - even without bread spices and seeds with a few raisins or dried fruit as sweet bread.
  4. Or roasted onions - creativity let greet!
