Plum cake from the sheet with butter crumble

Caution: This plum cake with butter crumble has certainly some calories, but is super delicious!

The preparation is very simple, the most costly thing is certainly the stone removal from the plums :)


ingredients

For the dough

  • 350 g of flour
  • 250 g butter
  • 200 g of sugar
  • 4 eggs
  • 3 teaspoons baking powder
  • about 1.5-2 kg plums / plums (amount to taste and how tight you want to put the plums)

For the crumble

  • 375 g of flour
  • 250 g of liquid butter
  • 200 g of sugar
  • 1 pck of vanilla sugar
  • to taste, you can add some cinnamon or lemon zest

preparation

  1. Put all the ingredients for the baking powder dough into a bowl and stir. (Food processor or hand mixer.)
  2. Brush 1 tin with butter (if necessary, lay out with baking paper).
  3. Put the dough on the baking tray and distribute it evenly on the tray with your hands and some flour (the dough is a bit soft).
  4. Cut the prunes / plums in half, remove the core, make a small cut at the top of the plum on the left and right, unfold the plum / fold it up and spread it evenly over the dough. (See photos.)
  5. If that is done, the crumbles are made: Put all the ingredients for the crumble in a bowl and stir with a fork for so long, you have sprinkled nice sprinkles. Then distribute these evenly on the cake.
  6. Approximately Bake for 50-60 minutes at 175 degrees.

Hmm? Tastes warm delicious, with or without cream? I like it best the next day!
