Pot plants in non-waterproof pots

How often do you have beautiful vessels that would be very suitable as a planter for plants, but which are not waterproof, so that you risk flooding when pouring.

Often I had that, that I did not like to use beautiful baskets for the reason. In my current case, I had a vessel from Ikea that was super-color-matched, but had holes punched in its bottom.

I helped by packing the flowerpot into a freezer bag. Already nothing can overflow.

In order for the roots not to be in the irrigation water, it is possible to place an increase in the bag and under the pot, e.g. a cucumber glass lid o. Ä.
