Potato and courgette rosti thaler

This is a simple recipe for very tasty, crispy potato-zucchini-rösti-thalers that are cooked quickly.

ingredients

For 3-4 people

  • about 600 g of potatoes
  • 400 g of zucchini
  • 3 tablespoons flour
  • 2 eggs
  • pepper and salt
  • some nutmeg
  • Vegetable oil (I usually use rapeseed oil) for frying

preparation

  1. First, the potatoes are peeled and coarsely grated, the zucchini washed and also grated. Put the grated vegetables on a cloth and squeeze out the moisture. Then flour and eggs are added, mixed well and seasoned with pepper, salt and some grated nutmeg.
  2. In a pan, the oil is heated and from the mass (plenty 1 tablespoon of mass per Rösti) small, about 1 cm thick Rösti-Taler from both sides are fried golden brown. That's all.
  3. This fits z. B. Herbal quark and tomato salad or sliced, at will, even sour cream with rocket, chives or parsley tastes good!
