Cream mushrooms with fried paprika

For this very tasty vegetable garnish no long preparation time is needed.

For 4-5 servings you need:


ingredients

  • 1 big onion
  • about 1 tablespoon of butter lard
  • 800 g of giant mushrooms
  • 150 g green roast peppers? Pimiento Padron?
  • 200 g cream or creme fraiche
  • Sea salt, pepper, chilli pepper spice
  • chopped herbs (eg parsley, dill, chives - fresh or frozen)

preparation

First the onions are peeled and cut into cubes, the roast peppers are washed, cleaned and cut into narrow rings and the mushrooms are cleaned and sliced.

Now the onion cubes with the pepper rings are briefly steamed on a large pan in the hot clarified butter. Then the mushrooms are added and everything roasted with constant stirring. Then season to taste with sea salt, pepper and chilli pepper spice, stir the cream / crème fraiche and let the whole at the lowest temperature level a little warm.

To fit z. As boiled potatoes and meatballs, but also mashed potatoes and steak, schnitzel or chicken breast fillet ... at will.

Finally, sprinkle the finely chopped herbs over - finished!
