Apple jelly

ingredients

  • 1 kg of unripe apples (as more pectin is present)
  • 1 kg gelling sugar
  • 1-2 pck. Vanillin sugar
  • 1 glass of schnapps (who likes), calvados would be best

preparation

Chop apples and cook in a juicer. Or cook apples normally in the pot, then squeeze through a linen / cotton cloth.

Cook in a saucepan with sugar and the remaining ingredients for 2 minutes, put in hot jars with screw cap, turn upside down and let stand until cold.

I think it tastes delicious, much like quince jelly.
