Refill the gas lighter without any problems

There are refillable gas lighters for the sake of the environment. But refilling usually does not work that way. The gas from the can does not really want to go straight into the lighter.

The reason is simple: The gas in the can is usually at room temperature, the lighter was just in his pocket and is thus warmer and the pressure inside it is higher than that in the can. That can not work like that.

So put the lighter in the fridge for about 30 minutes (not in the freezer that hardens the gasket!). Then remove and fill immediately. Now that the pressure in the lighter is significantly lower, the gas flows in easily.
