Remove cat and dog urine

Hello first to all. Unfortunately, my puppy often had the problem that he made the carpet. It is bad, however, if it was only very little and you did not see it immediately but smelled it.

Removing the smell and stain is not a problem, but since dogs have a much better nose, he still smells it and kept making it, just like my big dog did.

To remove it completely, there are several methods that really work great. Depending on what you have in the house.

  1. First, an old towel or absorbent wipes on it and soak up everything. Do not fumble, just dab or just let it slide a bit.
  2. Then method 1: tipping vinegar over it properly and repeat the game with the towel. (Stinks terribly but vanishes, not so good on delicate carpet.)
  3. Method 2: Distribute soda powder on it (does not help with cat urine as they can still smell their urine from my experience)
  4. Method 3: Peppermint oil. It smells very pleasant in the apartment. (Cats will avoid this spot, as it stinks too much for their sensitive nose, so do not apply where the poor animals are or daily).

Peppermint oil or vinegar in mop water will help even if an accident happened on laminate.
