Köttbullar - Swedish meatballs

The Köttbullar (Meatballs) are not only popular with children in Sweden, but also in adults. It is quite fast self-made and you do not have to resort to Fertiggedöns. The Köttbullar always taste different, because there are so many possibilities, from the seasoning. My Köttbullar have ground cloves in the minced meat.

ingredients

For two good eaters:

  • 50 g freshly grated bread crumbs
  • 7 tbsp whipped cream liquid
  • 7 tbsp cold water
  • 200 g ground beef
  • 200 g of turkey mincemeat
  • 1 tsp salt
  • ½ teaspoon ground cloves
  • 1 medium onion grated
  • 1 egg beaten
  • Fat of your choice for frying

preparation

  1. Mix the breadcrumbs with the water and the cream well and let them swell for about 5 minutes.
  2. Add the minced meat with the salt, the cloves and the grated onion to the bread crumbs and mix.
  3. Then add the beaten egg and knead everything very well.
  4. Turn balls with wet hands, each ball has about the amount of an EL in mince. Fry all the balls to medium heat.

We love to eat boiled potatoes, cream sauce and cranberry jam. Also like a green salad.
