Remove glue residue from jam jars

I like to cook jam. I always put the glasses in rinsing water to dissolve the glue on the labels.

Unfortunately, like today, I still had to scrub to get the remainders off the label. Then I came up with the idea to try it with the scraper for the glass ceramic field. It worked so fast. Scrape it over at any angle and the annoying adhesive residue is gone.

Then wipe with the rinse water again briefly and voila, the jars are ready to boil the jam. I was just happy with the quick and straightforward solution and was a little annoyed that I did not get that much sooner.

Maybe it will help you too! Have fun with the jam! :-)
