Remove with adhesive tape, dust & dirt from grooves, corners, etc.
From my grandmother I have inherited a few beautiful pieces of furniture with carvings. Removing the dust from the small grooves, corners and edges is painstaking even with a brush. And cleaning with a wet cloth is taboo, which damages the wood.
I just tried to tackle the dust with tape. And it worked!
Just tear off a short piece, press into the "carving grooves" ... and pull off.
Of course, that's a time-consuming job. Maybe everyone will help!
