Savory pumpkin spread with chili

Fruity-savory with a sharp hint? This pumpkin spread tastes so delicious that it can also be used as a dip to make vegetable sticks. Coconut milk makes the spread full-bodied and the chili gives it the last whistle.

ingredients

  • 200 g cream cheese
  • 2 tbsp coconut milk (alternatively normal milk)
  • 100 g pumpkin (Hokkaido)
  • pumpkin seeds
  • chili
  • Salt, pepper, curry

preparation

  1. Cut the pumpkin into small cubes. Put the olive oil in a pan and fry the cubes (may lightly brown). Toast the pumpkin seeds with the chopped chili in a pan.
  2. Mix the cream cheese with the coconut milk. Add the pumpkin and crush with a fork. Who likes it even finer, can also puree the pumpkin.
