Sushi is not for everyone. I often do sushi, but some of my friends are not fond of "raw fish". Vegetarian sushi is a bit boring and bland, so I came up with the idea to try one with meat.

Almost everyone likes a nice steak: crunchy on the outside and pink on the inside.

This tip should be addressed to all those who like to make sushi at home and also like to invite friends. If there is someone who is not enthusiastic about classic sushi, you can avoid using a fleshy alternative. So you can enjoy more sushi and each of your guests is satisfied.

Recipe idea:

I like to use rumpsteak for that. It has a great taste, remains juicy and is available in many shops. The rump steak is seared very sharply from both sides and, depending on the thickness in the oven or in aluminum foil, drawn to the desired core temperature. Then it is cut with a sharp knife into thin strips.

The cooked and spiced sushi rice is made into an elongated ball and topped with a strip of cooled roast beef. To season the meat, I like to use some fresh wasabi and thin slices or strips of spring onion.

This has still tasted everyone who actually "does not like sushi". Of course, any other meat can be used instead of roast beef.

Pink Roast Duck Breast with Teriyaki Sauce?

Pork schnitzel with some remoulade?

Black Forest ham with pickled gürkchen?

There are no limits for your creativity. Have fun with the idea :)
