Toilet clogged and no suction cup / Pümpel at hand?
Anyone who has a blockage in the toilet and has no suction cup at hand has a serious problem. We should just remove the blockage, so that you can use the toilet again?
You need to find a tool to get into the U-drain (so it has to be a bit flexible), but still have some strength.
When I had this problem today, I was looking like a madman in the whole house. Since I live in the countryside and my car is broken, I could not go shopping and buy a suction cup.
The pressure on the bladder and thus the pressure on me to find a solution became stronger and stronger.
Then I had the solution:
The inner cardboard roll of a roll of kitchen towels has just the right consistency. Elastic enough to enter the tube while being strong enough to remove the blockage.
Now there is another trick to use. Since the cardboard roll would normally soften in the Klowasser, you still need a MÜLLTÜTE. This is inverted over the cardboard roller, so that neither the arm, nor the paperboard water comes.
Now you just have to "poke around" in the drain a little and VOILA the toilet is free again!
