Vegetable stew from the pressure cooker

ingredients

  • 1500 ml broth
  • 10 pieces of Brussels sprouts
  • 600 g of pork
  • 200 g savoy cabbage
  • 6 florets cauliflower
  • 4 potatoes
  • 2 big carrots
  • 1 kohlrabi
  • 1 big onion
  • 1 clove of garlic
  • 1 tbsp butter lard
  • Broth, salt, pepper, paprika powder

preparation

  1. Dice the meat, peel the potatoes and cut them into small pieces, including the vegetables.
  2. Finely chop the onion and garlic.
  3. Sauté meat with butter for about 5 minutes and season, fry the onion for a short time, add stock to cover the meat, cook for 5 minutes with lid closed on speed 2 (fast cooking).
  4. Evaporate the pot, then add the whole vegetables to the meat, fill with broth.
  5. Close pot, cook at level 1 (low heat) for 3 minutes.
  6. Evaporate immediately.

In the pressure cooker you can blanch the vegetables well, which I did, because I had too much.


The blanching water I used for the broth, so the vitamins are preserved.
