Wash towels properly

An experienced housekeeper told me to wash towels separately from other clothes.

On the internet, I found that you should use a maximum of half the recommended dosage. My experience confirms that already half of the recommended dosage is perfectly adequate.

domalu: I wash hand and bath towels together with the undershirts or the sheets at 60 °. Is that wrong? Spectator: I have far too many towels for my single household, so can gather comfortably until a machine is full.
Since they are actually only slightly soiled, you can dose detergent sparingly. The "manufacturer's information" should be read from the point of view of who might be interested in that the package is consumed as quickly as possible.

I wash towels with 60 degrees, but will try soon, if not 40 degrees also enough. For reasons of hygiene, I have been told, 60 or even 90 degrees are certainly not necessary. The enzymes contained in all modern detergents are effective germ killer. And as fussy as in a clinic must or should not be in the household.

In general, additional funds are usually unnecessary. Calgon or similar "is already in it", fabric softener as well. Very hard = calcareous water has become rare today, most waterworks (including mine) provide at least "medium-hard" H²O,
