I love eating watermelon. My last watermelon was not as sweet as I would like, so I wondered if you could make jam with it. I searched for a recipe and found it.
ingredients
- Peeled 1000 g of watermelon
- 500 g jam sugar 2 plus 1
- 1 tablespoon of citric acid powder
preparation
- Slice the watermelon.
- Remove shell and cores if present.
- To cut in pieces.
- Puree.
- Bring everything together in the pot to a boil and boil for about 5 minutes bubbly.
- Make gelling sample (with the mixing spoon, put a little jam on a small plate, it must gel, otherwise cook a little further.
- Rinse screw jars with hot water.
- Fill the glasses and close them immediately, turn them upside down for a while.
