Wintery cherry soup

For the winter cherry soup you need:

ingredients

  • 2 glasses of shadow morels (cherries)
  • 2 packets of red groats with sago
  • 1 packet of vanilla pudding
  • 1 egg
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • Sugar as needed
  • about 1/2 L of water

preparation

Bring the cherries to a boil with the cinnamon. Separate the egg. Beat the egg whites in another container with a little water until stiff. Beat the egg yolk in the container with 1/2 liter of water. Add the pudding powder and the red groats.

Stir with a fork and add to the cherries. Add sugar as needed and top up with water to achieve a creamy soup. Cautiously boil briefly and then switch down. Simmer until the white sago grains become glassy. Stir again and again so that the soup does not burn. Finally, stir in the egg whites until small clouds form.

tip: for adults you can also give a good shot of red wine!
