What to do with infections?

The following tips have been tested on your own body and have always helped me a lot, when an infection of unknown cause was approaching again:

1) Even with the very first symptoms, I begin with the use of "meditonsin", a homeopathic remedy that stimulates the body's defenses. On the first day, 10 drops per hour, on the following days until fading swallow 10 drops without adding liquid.

2) Use the well-known Japanese Medicinal Herbal Oil (JHP_Ingredient Mint Oil) to stimulate blood circulation due to the released essential oils: just before going to bed.

  • put a drop on the fingertip and rub over the eyebrows - parallel to them - towards the frontal sinus;
  • Similarly, one drop to the right and left of the nose (has a targeted effect on the paranasal sinuses)
  • place one drop in the neck area in the area, the so-called wind points, d. H. cord-shaped right and left of the spine over a length of about 10 cm. These wind points are particularly sensitive to cold, wet and drafts. They transmit these sensations to the body and we freeze more.
  • And last but not least, for those who believe in the "pungency" of mint oil and expect it: put a drop directly on the tongue (like on a piece of sugar cubes).

In all cases, the escaping essential oils of mint reach the throat, nose and throat space and unfold their effect here.

Do not use this medicine for more than 5 days without medical or dental advice.

With me, JHP and Meditonsin also and especially in the first aid kit!

3) Also just before going to bed take a so-called "ascending foot bath": Add lukewarm water and 3 drops of JHP to a bowl at least one foot in size. Bring water boiled until ready to pour next to the bowl. Both feet are put into the water: already pure enjoyment, because immediately the JHP releases its oils into the water and from there immediately over the skin into the bloodstream and unfolds a stimulating soothing effect. After about 90 seconds, add 1/2 cup of boiling water - keep your feet in the bowl. Continue to refill this portion of the very hot water until the high temperature is just right. Then dry with a handy towel lying feet (!) And immediately with this feeling under the covers :-)

4) Also, the following application just before bedtime: take a relaxing bath, but then only completely dry, in a large bed sheet or similar wrap and thus - it is slightly damp and should it stay - under the covers ... One pleasant warmth spreads quickly throughout the body, relaxes, makes you sleepy and promotes blood circulation and stimulates the lymphatic system ...

If especially the throat area is attacked (neck scratching, voicelessness ...), then

5) ... I do something good with a mixture of lime blossom, sage leaves and thyme, which the pharmacist puts together in a total amount of 100 g. Prepare this herbal mixture like tea and let it cool slightly. Take a sip in your mouth and gargle with it unvoiced, d. H. Do not make a noise like children like to do it. If you gargle loudly and vigorously, the already attacked vocal folds (wrongly often called vocal chords) are strained again and can not recover. If you like, you can drink this sip of tea after gargling, so that the healing ingredients can get even deeper into the pharynx and can also be effective there.

6) Because of the frequently attacked vocal folds in case of a cold ... do not cough or clear your throat, but cough with a "deep voice" (!), Because only then are the already attacked vocal cords not even tense any more.

7) Even if you do not really feel good, yet and just go straight - preferably right before bedtime - in the fresh air. In the fall ... wear a headgear, because we give off a lot of heat just above the scalp, which is counterproductive in case of an infection!

8) Frequently, an infection often manifests itself in the fact that we are freezing / shivering, so the body has a defect that he can not compensate immediately. In such a case, I can still recommend the following (this tip is probably intended primarily for women ...): Not only in the open air, but during the day so-called Pulswärmer wear (these should like to be made of wool). Wrist warmers sit on the wrists: If you keep this place of the body warm, the shivering begins to fade and you just feel better. The skin is relatively thin here and can react faster to the ambient temperature at the site. The same is true the other way around: when the heat is high, keep your forearms completely under cold running water.

9) At this point, I would also like to point out the so-called market women's gloves. These are the finger gloves, where only the fingertips are not covered: they seem to be cut off at all fingertips. Even in the deep winter you can work with it: The wrist is well protected and warmed - whether missing at the fingertips 2 cm fabric or not, is irrelevant!

So, those were some home remedies. There are certainly many others: everyone the way he gets the best!

Then on a colorful autumn and without infection!
