Worlds best butter cake

If unexpected guests come, I usually have to offer this crunchy butter cake, the recipe is from my grandmother.
ingredients
- 100 g of butter
- 75 g of sugar
- 2 egg whites
- 100 g of flour
- 1-2 vanilla sugar
- 1 pinch of salt
- + 30 g of melted, heated butter extra

- 90 g of sugar
- 70 g of butter
- 1 pinch of salt
preparation
- I make the crumbles first. For this, flour, sugar, butter, salt are cold mixed together and made into sprinkles.
- Then I stir first butter, sugar, vanilla sugar and the egg whites until foamy, the flour and salt are added last, and stirred until the dough is smooth.
- The dough is then spread very thinly and evenly on a greased sheet, brushed with the melted butter and covered with the crumbles.
- Then bake in a warm oven at 150 degrees ... about 10 -15 minutes (depending on the desired degree of browning).
- Important: When the cake comes out of the oven, it must be cut warm from the sheet, otherwise it will break.
- Stored in a large tin can, it tastes good for a long time.
