Aluminum foil against squeaky beds
Which metal bed owner does not know the problem: Over time, the good piece starts to squeak. But you hang by his bed and do not want a new one. The squeaking annoys, however. What to do? Simple solution: aluminum foil and half an hour of time.
Simply unscrew the screws in question, wrap them with aluminum foil (one layer around it is enough!) And press the grooves on the aluminum foil with your thumb so that the screw can also be screwed in again. Then simply screw the screw clean again. Continue with the other screws.
The bed will not squeal again as soon as the contact metal-metal is interrupted and the respective friction is missing. Incidentally, this can also be applied to other squeaky furniture!
